Course Overview
The Graduate Diploma of Cosmetic Nursing and Injectables has been developed specifically for qualified nurses wishing to enter the field of cosmetic medicine.
This nationally accredited qualification will provide nurses with the knowledge and hands-on practical skills required to perform a range of dermal therapies, cosmetic injectable procedures and cosmetic nursing duties in a cosmetic medical practice. The unit ‘CDNEIP02 Evaluate and perform cosmetic injectable procedures’ is the first nationally accredited unit covering the theory and practical skills associated with dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxants.

Course Admission Requirements
- Must be a Registered or enrolled/division 2 nurse
- Current registration through AHPRA
- Please note: If you graduated prior to 2008, you MUST hold a current medications endorsement

Course Duration and Study Commitment
Theory Components
- Full-time: Approximately 25 hours/week over 12 months
- Part-time: Approximately 12.5 hours/week over 24 months
- Unit by Unit: Approximately 6 hours/week over a maximum of 2.5 years
Practical Component
- Clinical competencies in Dermal Therapies: Full-time block over two weeks.
- Clinical competencies in Cosmetic Injectables: Full-time block over four days
Study Mode
Online, with practical training available in Sydney, Perth, Gold Coast, and Melbourne.
